Blueberries are delicious and healthy berries packed with vitamins and nutrients. While blueberries are native to North America, cultivation for the fruit has increased since the early 20th century across the world. Blueberry plants require acidic soil that has a pH of around 4 to 5, which makes them well-suited to grow in areas with naturally acidic soils. In the right conditions, blueberry plants grow best in areas with plenty of rain and moderate sun exposure.

Goji berries, also known as wolfberries, are a unique and highly nutritious superfood that have been used for centuries in Chinese medicine. They are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, and are believed to have numerous health benefits such as boosting the immune system, improving vision, and promoting healthy skin. In addition, goji berries are delicious and versatile, making them a popular ingredient in smoothies, salads, and baked goods. KIWI ACTINIDIA
Kiwi trees are deciduous, fast-growing, and unique fruit trees that are native to eastern and southeastern China. They are also commonly known as Chinese gooseberries. They can grow up to 30 feet tall and feature smooth, greyish-brown bark and large, heart-shaped leaves. Kiwi trees are dioecious, meaning each tree produces either male or female flowers, so both sexes are required to produce fruit. However, some kiwi varieties are self-fertile, which do not require another male plant. The fruit of a cold hardy Kiwi variety is smooth and smaller in size compared to its more tropical relatives. Kiwi trees require plenty of sunlight and well-drained soil to grow best, making them a perfect addition to any garden or orchard. As an added bonus, they're rich in vitamin C, making them a healthy and delicious fruit to enjoy.
OLIVE OLEA EUROPAEA
Olive trees have been cultivated for thousands of years and have an impressive reputation for their versatile applications. These trees are known for their rich, fruity oil, which is used in cooking and cosmetics. In addition to their utility, the trees themselves are beautiful, with their hardy evergreen leaves and contorted trunks that can reach impressive sizes. They are particularly resilient, able to survive in drought-prone areas and adapt to different climates. Growing an olive tree is a labor of love that requires time and dedication, but the end result is a tree that brings years of beauty, shade, and delicious harvests.
POMEGRANATE PUNICA GRANATUM
Pomegranate trees are a beautiful and valuable addition to any landscape. These trees produce delicious, juicy fruit that is high in antioxidants and sweet-tart flavor. The trees themselves are stunning, with tall, slender branches covered in bright green leaves. They are easy to care for and can thrive in a variety of growing conditions, making them a versatile choice for gardeners. In addition to their aesthetic and nutritional value, pomegranate trees are also steeped in cultural significance around the world. With their combination of beauty, flavor, and meaning, pomegranate trees make an excellent investment for any gardener or plant enthusiast.
ABOUT GEORGIA FRUIT TREES
Nestled among the Georgia pines, Georgia Fruit Trees strives to provide customers with plants that flourish in our mild climate. The owner, James Kostopoulos, is a native Atlantan who found his passion for horticulture at a young age. Tending to the family garden filled with pomegranate, fig, kiwi, lemon and olive trees alongside his grandfather, James learned how to care for the plants, soil, and fauna that grow in the area. He and his grandmother would pick fruits and vegetables from the garden to make delicious meals.
James’ passion grew through these experiences and took him to Miami after college where he worked on a tropical fruit farm. He brought his knowledge and enthusiasm back to Atlanta in 2022 and created Georgia Fruit Trees with the idea that our trees can add beauty to any outdoor space and supply food for you and your family.
Our company’s mission is to provide quality plants that add more than beauty to your landscape; we provide trees with a purpose.
